Rick started in the entertainment industry in the late 70’s, working as a professional magician and aspiring musician. The last six years working as a signed, principle actor to Lucas Talent Inc., one of the oldest and most established artist management companies in Vancouver, B.C. Canada.

He worked directly on set with Ang Lee on the Life of Pi, and supplied Motion Capture at EA Labs for the summer blockbusters, Hercules, The Giver and Night at the Museum 3.

Directing, producing and acting, along with his experience in Information Technology and marketing for the last 25 years, provides the perfect complement for others who wish to collaborate on film projects.

Rick also has a strong background in technical sales and support, brand and event marketing, media and public relations. Working for some the largest marketing companies in the world has allowed him to lend his talent and expertise to many fortune 500 companies across three countries.

Fascinated by the world of magic in Disney during the early 70′s. Later experiencing the stage illusions of Reveen.

Home magic shows in the 70′s to his first real job at 15 years old, table hopping doing magic and balloon art at Mr. Greenjeans Restaurant in Toronto.

Rick later went on to meet Doug Henning at a magic conference and the rest is history.

Then the 80′s happened. He pouted, grew his hair like a girl and played guitar.

Fast forward to August 2013 Orlando, Florida with Dal Sanders – President Society of American Magicians (S.A.M.)

As a young adult, working on set as a lighting technician in Toronto, for the Theatre at the Harbourfront Centre, he enjoyed the production side of the industry. Studied photography at Seneca, taking courses at Ryerson for electronic video field production and worked as a video editor and audio visual technician.

Currently signed to Lucas Talent Inc. as a principle actor and a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians and C.A.M.
